Dinner (Stuck)

“Dinner” is a singular artwork by Franz von Stuck that plunges the viewer into the hushed and almost unreal atmosphere of a high-society banquet. In the foreground, the dark silhouettes of the guests, seen from behind, stand out like shadow puppets against the dazzling light emanating from the long table. Rows of golden candelabras illuminate the scene with a warm, mysterious glow.
