Basilica of St. John and Paul by Canaletto

On the right side, the monumental red brick facade of the Santi Giovanni e Paolo basilica stands majestically, flanked by the bronze equestrian statue of Colleoni. At the back of the esplanade, the Scuola Grande di San Marco displays its white marble Renaissance facade decorated with delicate sculptures. Numerous figures dressed in traditional black cloaks and period dresses stroll in small groups on the paved square.
