On the right, a winged being with bluish skin and green drapery, blowing vigorously, emerges from among the trees to seize a nymph. The latter, dressed in a transparent white veil, runs to the left while turning her anxious face toward her pursuer, flowers escaping from her lips. Immediately next to her, a third woman steps forward with confidence, adorned with a richly flowered white dress and a spring crown on her blonde hair. The composition is thus organized in a continuous movement from right to left, supported by the verticality of the dark trunks in the background. A soft light highlights the light draperies and anatomical details of the protagonists.
