Three Cats (Marc)

This work is a complex and dynamic Cubist composition. Franz Marc depicts three cats whose bodies are intertwined and fragmented into a myriad of facets. A black and white cat stretches across the center, its body diagonally crossing the canvas. It is surrounded by a red cat and a yellow and black striped cat, whose forms merge with the decor.
