The Sheepfold - Moonlight by Jean-François Millet

Plunged into a mystical night atmosphere, this remarkable work captures the poetic calm and silence of nights in the countryside. The famous master Jean-François Millet produced this painting of a rare sensitivity under the title of “The Sheepfold - Moonlight”. An enclosure made of rudimentary fences gathers a huge flock of sheep at nightfall.
