Workshop of Tanagra by Jean-Léon Gérôme

This original and luminous work is part of the Neo-Grec movement, a refined French academic trend of the nineteenth century. The famous artist Gérôme Jean-Léon is inspired here by classical antiquity to stage artistic creation in a pottery workshop.
